Design content for games

Assets, environments, icons, campaigns and the motion that carries them. Eight years across games, VR and advertising studios.

Straight to the work, or the same portfolio flown as a spaceship.

On AI, plainly and respectfully.

Every model, texture, illustration, layout and frame here was made by me, by hand, with the usual tools of the trade. AI has no part in the art or the ideas — not the concepts, not the style, not the craft.

Where I do use it, it stays around the work and never inside it: sorting files, drafting an email, checking my own spelling. The work is mine — I'd rather say so up front than let you wonder.

My name is Jawdat Nahed, but my friends call me Dado. So, Who Am I?

I'm a Lebanese-Jordanian digital designer with a passion to work in games and experience. My journey as an artist began with a fascination for video games and a desire to bring my imagination to life.

mid-texture-pass

I'm a digital designer who happens to think in 3D. Games, campaigns, brands, products, a classroom — I've worked across studios, departments and roles, and each one taught me how a different part of the work actually gets made.

It started with video games and a need to make the worlds in my head real. That grew into a craft in modelling, texturing, lighting and motion — and then into the bigger picture: concepts, campaigns, and design that has to land with real people, not just look good.

Off the clock I'm chasing a new technique, a new style, or whatever the industry is shipping next. I want to be in a room with a talented team, making things that make people stay a little longer than they meant to.
